These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Roamie app and website. By creating an account or using Roamie, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use Roamie.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login secure
- The accuracy of your profile
- All activity under your account
We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Harass or harm others
- Post illegal or unsafe content
- Impersonate another person
- Reverse-engineer or attack the app
- Create spam or fake accounts
4. User Content
You retain rights to your content. You grant Roamie permission to store and process it solely to provide the service.
5. Messaging & Interactions
You are responsible for interactions with other users. Roamie does not conduct background checks or guarantee user behavior.
6. Location Services
If you enable location, Roamie may use it for matching and travel features. You can disable it anytime.
7. AI-Powered Features
Some features use AI recommendations. These features are advisory and may not always be accurate.
8. Third-Party Services
We rely on:
- Supabase
- Cloudflare
- Vercel
- Apple & Google authentication
- SMS providers
- Analytics and crash tools
9. Termination
You may delete your account anytime. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Disclaimers
Roamie is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee successful matches, accuracy, or continuous availability.
11. Limitation of Liability
Roamie is not responsible for user interactions, loss of data, or damage resulting from use of the app.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware (USA), unless local law requires otherwise.
